Corruption means illegal, bad, or dishonest behavior which is usually done by people in position of power. These days, people see “the show” between two institutions; Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) and Indonesian National Police (Kapolri). Many people try to save KPK, and it shows that people have been tired of corruption cases that keep growing like mushrooms. However let see what happened in our environment. Do we ourselves have totally stayed away of the corruption cases? We may not pay attention of what I am going to tell, but it does happen. The first example is the scholarship allocation that is not received by the appropriate students. There are still many people who “pretending” to be poor in order to gain those scholarships, and falsifying the data becomes the way out of this. Being 90’s children can be said as a blessing! Yeah, 90o’s childhood was full of so many traditional games. We didn’t recognize very well such modern and hi-tech games at that time. I just had a chance to read the test result of my nephew’s who is on the first grade of primary schoo l . Sadly, I found a question which was so key-oriented. The question was as below (the real one is in Bahasa Indonesia); “ Orange is my favorite fruit . The colour of orange is... a) yellow, b) orange, c) green.” My nephew “luckily” answered option a), yellow , and his answer was correct. I can say that it was so ironic since I am sure everyone must have ever seen orange in those three colors ! Further, there is no specific description of what kind of orange that the question meant. Boleh dibilang, saat- saat terkini dalam kehidupan saya dan ibu, adalah saat bagi kami untuk “menebus dosa.” Dulu waktu masih kecil, seringkali ada rasa iri dengan teman yang selalu bisa pulang ke rumah disambut oleh ibunya di rumah. Dulu, ibu biasanya pulang beberapa jam setelah saya pulang sekolah. Lalu beberapa tahun lalu, saat ibu sudah pensiun dari masa abdinya terhadap Negara, malah saya yang sibuk dengan kegiatan kuliah di Semarang. Begitulah…  Maka saat sekarang saya sudah lulus, dan ibu menikmati masa pensiunnya di rumah, masing- masing dari kami menghibahkan bakti sebisa- bisanya. Manusia memang tukang ngajak ribut. Bukan hanya dengan sesamanya saja, tapi juga dengan tuhannya sendiri. Sudah diberi tahu sejak dulu, bahwa apapun yang terjadi adalah kehendakNya. Tetapi tetap saja meratap tak habis- habis. Sudah diberi tahu, bahwa jalanNya tidak akan sekalipun pernah salah, namun tetap saja sering tak terima. Contohnya? Ya saya ini (hahaha..). Iya, saya juga sama saja begitu. Karena saya manusia. Bukan sekedar manusia biasa, tetapi kelewat biasa. Lulusan IKIP seperti saya ini, pasti identik dengan masa depan sebagai guru atau dosen. Mulai H+1 wisuda, pasti akan ditanya kesana kemari; “Sekarang ngajar di mana?” . Nyeseg? Awalnya pasti iya. Baru baru saja lho bisa “sembuh” dari nyesegnya. Belum mengajar sampai sekarang bukan berarti saya tidak setia dengan pilihan saya untuk mengabdi pada bidang pendidikan, bukan. FYI , saya sudah mendaftar di kurang lebih 13 sekolahan di kota Kudus.
